just stuff

Not too much has been happening all week. On our vacation my period miraculously stopped, so I only had a 5 day long period instead of one three weeks longer than that! I am so thankful for that too, it sure made our vacation much more pleasant.

I'm almost done cutting the fabric for my mom's quilt, well I'm about 40% done I'd say. Maybe even 35%... I guess I 'm not close yet. But I just started yesterday so I will be good, I think I'll have the cutting at least done by this afternoon.

I'm really bummed things didn't work out with my character development class. I know me dropping out was the right thing to do.

Everyone keeps asking us if we're going back to Michigan for Thanksgiving and I feel terrible to have to keep saying no, and especially because the only real reason is that we can't find a place for the darn cat. He's so harmless and doesn't ruin anything. I really wish I could talk my mom into letting us bring him there and then we'd never have an issue.

Our lease is up January 31st and we are going to have to re-sign a lease pretty soon here. I was really not looking forward to that, but what can we do? I want to see if we can look into signing a 6 month lease or something to give us time to find a house to rent in Oshkosh or something. I just don't want to be tied down and I feel like Jack's job won't last here. He thinks I'm being paranoid but I really don't think it will last.

But as far as Michigan goes, I don't think we'll be able to find anything even slightly reliable at all anywhere close to where we used to live. :( ! It's so confusing trying to find a place to settle down and feel stable in your job.

I had a dream last night that we had a son. A little roly poly boy and I think his name was James, Jamie for short. He was the cutest little guy, all chubby. In my dream he was probably 4 or 5 months old. I had picked him up after a nap and I was about to go change him and Jack said, "Do you want me to?" Ahhh a perfect example of what he'll be like as a dad. I can't wait for that.
