We have to give our 60 day notice next week for our Apartment and unfortunately we don't have an apartment ready to move into! EEK. I have a few in mind in Oshkosh, but the ones we fell in love with don't have any openings for January. Our last day at this apartment is January 31st, if worse comes to worst we will have to go month by month for a few months and move out in the spring. Which would probably be for the best anyway... so maybe I should stop stressing about it. It's just that Feb 11th marks the end of Jack's one year with perdiem so we're going to be taking a huge pay cut. Eek. What's a girl to do what's a girl to do.
In other news, I'm still working on the scarf for my future sister in law. I wonder if she'll like it. It's my best work I've ever done but unfortunately it's not top of the line nice lol. Oh well it's home made and it's my first real scarf. I'm not going to beat it up.
Last night we went to church and then went to Target and bought stockings to hang up on the fireplace. We got four. I'm not planning on putting names on them so that when my dad and Kelly come we can stuff stockings for them and have a Christmas with them and then use the stockings for my mom and the animals too. I need to get started on a blanket for my mom for Christmas. I think I'm just going to make a scarf for my siblings and not worry about a big blanket. Then I'm going to make my dad and Kelly an afghan and then make my dad a scarf for his birthday (January 2nd) and give it to him while he's here in December.
I'm really excited for my parents to come to visit this winter, that will be really nice to see them!
I am also super excited for next weekend's trip to the UP with Lindsey and Craig!! Hopefully they follow through with the trip and actually come with us! The Jeep is definitely going to be packed with 4 adults (one pregnant lady) and 2 full grown dogs.
Our anniversary is next Monday and I can't believe it's already been a year since we were married. Talk about one helluva year. The ladies at the jewelry store when I was picking out some diamonds were asking what I did to deserve such diamonds after one year of marriage. Oh if you only knew the hell that has been our lives this past year! If you only knew.
I went in to work at the nursery this morning and we had Lucy (her first time) and Jonathan who was 13 months old but not crawling yet (his first time also) and my little Olivia :) She is so sweet. I got to meet Patty and BJ's son Jonathan and daughter Mia. So precious!! I love 'em all!
Then I came home from church and slept almost all day. Barely woke up for a little while with a headache and then sat on the couch and worked on Kelly's scarf for a little while. Now it's 7pm and it's time to think about dinner. I'm not hungry but I guess Jack is. Gotta go.
Oh yeah, and my period started again. BOO.
