Anniversary & Thanksgiving & Christmas

Our 1st anniversary is in 14 days... I have no idea what to get Jack. We were trying to figure out a $ limit for us to spend on each other. He said $500.00. K... I can work with that. *Runs to Sears Website*


I can't believe we have been married a year already! It is awesome. Our 3 year dating anniversary is in January... it feels like so much longer than that! I am super disappointed in myself that I didn't come up with something long ago for our anniversary and have a long standing plan.

My brother-in-law's fiance's birthday is some time this month. I should email my mother-in-law and find out. I am going to make her a scarf. I am going to go to Joann's and buy really nice yarn for her scarf. I have no idea what kind of yarn to make it out of... and I would love to make her mittens too but I don't know how to. Hmmmmm.

I think her birthday is the 27th or something.

I wasn't around to celebrate it last year because they haaaated us last year (because of the wedding.)

I'm super sad about Thanksgiving and us not being with our families... If my mom was on speaking terms with anyone in her family, I think it would probably be different. I am curious to see what she does. She breaks my heart with how sad she is and how much turmoil she has in her heart. I have always felt a huge ache in my heart for my mom. Basically it might be snowing on the trip back and forth from Michigan and there is NO way we are going to drive through something like that so any trip back to Michigan between November and March is a no-go.

I am however, excited for Christmas. I'm glad we do get to spend it with my mom. I thought I was all excited to spend it alone but what I was really doing was trying to build it up so I wasn't sad to not be spending it with my family. I always get so emotional around the holidays!!

I have a bunch of scarves to make!
