Offer in on House!

Jack and I just put an offer in this morning on our dream house. This is our 3rd offer that we've submitted on our 3rd house. We have looked at lots, but this one is by far our favorite. It's about 40 minutes from where we live now... which means, of course, 40 minutes away from all our family. 40 minutes, I think, is a perfect compromise from the 500 miles we once were... it still gives us our space and at the same time, we are still just a drive away.

I feel like we've made the mistake of getting way too hopeful for this house because I'm already completely attached and I'm going to be heartbroken if this is not the house we end up with! We've already started to look at paint colors and siding colors... we're dreaming and picturing how we want things to go.... this can't be good :P

I went to the gym last night and that was wonderful. It feels amazing to not be sick any more. I did 45 minutes on the elliptical and I can feel that I worked out last night. I miss this feeling!

I am also trying to get my motivation built up to start sewing stuff like mad for my etsy shop. If I can't get a job right now, the least I can do is try to make money by selling stuff through etsy. We can use every penny we can get to start fixing up the house to have it how we want it. It's a really sound house, so basically we just need to paint. But we want to replace the carpet just to have something that we've picked. It will do for now, but that will probably be one of our first projects. New molding and paint and stuff is easy to do as weekend projects. The kitchen... that will be down the road for sure.
