Pictures and an update

mom planting flowers in my flower baskets that hang on my porch

Bessie with all of her old collars and leashes and harnesses all piled on top of her and on her

Photobucket
This dog has probably gone through $500 in different leashes and harnesses and collars trying to find the ones that work for her!

Photobucket
I slipped her first itty bitty collar over her nose for a picture! That was how small her whole head was and we could slip that teeny collar right over her head.

Hanging out on the porch with her new quilt that I made and next to the flower boxes she planted.

I have an interview today for some Business to business sales for Insurance. I am also waiting on a call back from a Japanese Steakhouse which was supposed to happen on Monday so I'm assuming I didn't get that job... and a group home for developmentally disabled people, they said by the end of this week or the beginning of next week I would hear from them. So hopefully I got that job.

Tomorrow is the beginning of Jack's pay cut affecting us. His paycheck will be about 45% of what it was when we moved out here for this great opportunity for a job. We are moving at the end of June to a cheaper apartment and I am really looking forward to that. I have a whole month to go through and begin throwing things away and getting ready to move. And then I have the whole month of July to clean out our current apartment since the leases on our apartments coincided by one month.

My mom bought us a slow cooker while she was here so I am super excited to give that a try. Last night for dinner I made homemade Manicotti... it was awesome. I even improvised because I didn't have a few of the ingredients or not enough of certain ingredients, but it turned out amazing.

As if my chart was enough of a teaser....

my temperature went back up... I should have started my period some time in the last few days... and of course tests yesterday and today were negative. What a complete mind game.

If I'm not pregnant this cycle I have decided to start training for a 5k to run this fall. Since we will no longer be able to afford to do fertility treatments or testing, we can just take this time to really get in shape and enjoy the outdoors as much as possible because hey... walking down the sidewalk is free and we're not going to have pennies to our name after our bills are paid each month.

I'm going to miss being a housewife... I really am. I feel like my place is in the home and making a home for my husband and God willing, children one day. I know we have to do what we have to do to get by, but I will miss being home all the time. I will miss being there when my husband walks in the door about to put dinner on the table, I will miss being able to do laundry whenever or walk the dog whenever.

It's time for me to go to my next interview now....

Pray for me if you would!

I love the light pink and green quilt! Bessie is so super cute too. I just want to love on her.

Beautiful quilts, but since it is afternoon snack time I like the looks of the pizza rolls the best.
