1. What did you do in 2008 that you had never done before?
Moved away from home... 500 miles to be exact
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't from last year, but I'd like to this year for sure.
My new resolutions:
lose weight, get in peak physical shape, grow in my walk with Christ
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Jack's cousin isn't that close but close in age ... Little Aren Raymond-Paul was born 12.24.08!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
I think we had 4 funerals this year.
5. What countries did you visit?
Just the good ole U.S. of A.
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
a child
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
February 1, 2008; when we moved to Wisconsin. Pretty much all of July through October... too many freaking funerals. My Grandpa, my aunt, and both of Jack's maternal grandparents within 2 weeks of each other.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
moving to Wisconsin, being ready financially and mentally for TTC
9. What was your biggest failure?
not losing weight, in fact gaining weight
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Got some pretty awful cases of food poisoning and one terrible sore throat.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Bessie May - Our yellow lab puppy
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My husband, we finally were able to break away from all the holds that were on us.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
the in-laws... and the f-sil, thank God things are really starting to turn around

bills
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
moving to Wisconsin

I can only Imagine

hard to say. probably exercising!

eating
20. How did you spend Christmas?
at home in Wisconsin, my dad and stepmonster came a few days before Christmas and stayed and visited and then my mom flew in on Christmas day and flies home tomorrow!

every day

ummm Secret Life of an American Teenager... I think it restarts this week!
25. Do you dislike anyone now that you didn't dislike this time last year?
no

all the quilting books

my guitar!! I need to pick it back up!
28. What did you want and get?
I could fill up about 200 pages here... so I'll just summarize and say that we have been VERY richly blessed and we owe it all to God!

a blue and white diamond ring lol

didn't have one
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 22 in February. We had just moved here 4 days before and Jack had thrown out his back. We had NO money at all and Jack spent all of his time laying in bed because he couldn't even walk. I baked my own cake. Jack brought me breakfast in bed though!
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
well ... like I said before we had a ridiculously wonderful year, it's hard to say that anything could top our year.... but we're looking forward to having children.

lazy

none

oh lordy don't get me started.

My grandparents who died, my grandma who is still alive, all my family and friends in Michigan

Lindsey!!! hands down.
