We close on our house in 2 days.

Tuesday at 4pm we close on our house.

I can't even believe it !! We are buying a house.

We can get in the house right now and so Jack and I went yesterday for a few hours and scrubbed almost all of the walls downstairs. Holy moly what a huge job. I think we probably could have finished the whole house if we had brought some food but we worked and worked on empty stomachs until we both felt sick, so then we left.

I am so itching to finish all the things we can on the house as soon as possible so that we can move in!!

We need to:
- buy 4 door locks with dead bolts.
- Rip out all the carpets and dispose of them.
- Wash all the walls (almost 50% finished)
- take out all the nails and spackle all the holes
- Prime kitchens and bathrooms completely and then prime over all the spackled spots.
- paint! Starting with kitchen and moving from room to room. I think we're going to start with the ceilings. I've already picked out almost all of the paint colors so far, so that won't take long. I believe I need about a gallon of each color per room. I have NO idea how much ceiling paint to buy or how much of the base color to buy. I feel like I'll need at least 10 gallons of the base color and 15 or more gallons of ceiling paint!
- change all toilet lids
- Clean clean clean the bathrooms
- After everything is painted and cleaned we will get our carpet installed
- After carpets are installed we will order our appliances and cabinets for the kitchen
- Then we will move in!!


Doesn't seem like that long of a to do list before we move in right!? We'll be out of Shawn's in two weeks max. I am bound and determined to get the heck out of this joint!!

Tuesday will be here before we know it!! I can't wait to get rocking on the house!

This house is going to look AMAZING with fresh paint and new carpets.
