Today was a great day!!

Today was a sweet day!

Woke up early and got ready for church after clocking in all of my workers on YoVille haha. All of my cheating was successful because today I purchased a sweet house :P Now I can begin to decorate it!

We headed to this new church not knowing quite what to expect, but remaining hopeful. We couldn't find the place!! I called my mom (my personal googler haha) but she didn't answer so I called my sister and she finally answered. Turns out I had woken her up! She went down to her computer and googled the church for us because we had to search by the address. We couldn't find it on our GPS. [Side note - when my mom called me back later today she said "do you feel like you live in a different world? Have you noticed that EVERYTHING you try to find around you is not even on your GPS!?!" haha]

We finally find the place (we were literally 600 feet away when my sister gave us the address!) and it was a small building with a small sign. Hmmm... The parking lot was pretty full, but there were only 15-25 cars there. Hmm.... we walked inside and it was a teeny place. Oh my, we thought. We are definitely going to stick out like sore thumbs here. Oh and sure enough, all the men were wearing suits with the jackets and here Jack and I are in our ratty Sunday jeans and hoodies haha.

Anyway, people were extremely friendly!! Almost everyone came and said hi, there were about 75 people at the service. It was an EXCELLENT sermon and they had a great and talented choir. There wasn't much we DIDN'T like about the church. We're super excited to have found a church at which we really feel like we can grow! Jackie Lee and I both can't wait til Wednesday when we can go back!

After church we came home and I made us some sandwiches for lunch and we got texts from our friends that have bessie's brother. They wanted to hang out to get the dogs together to play. So I invited them over and we straightened up our place (kinda counter productive, I know, especially if we're going to have a 90lb and a 60lb lab come over and tear through the place haha) That was pretty fun, they only stayed for about an hour, maybe a little more.

Lindsey and Craig and Brewer went home and I started dinner. Turned out to be the most fantastic dinner I have ever made. I just winged it too. MMMMM!!!! It was one of those picture perfect meals that everything came out of the oven exactly at the same time, perfectly cooked. I made roasted chicken with potatoes and onions, all perfectly seasoned and homemade french bread from scratch :) sooooooooooooo goooooooooooooooood. I have really out done myself! Jackie was talking to his Grandpa tonight and told him I was giving Grandma a run for her money! haha :)

Brewer climbed on his daddy's lap first and Bessie got jealous so she climbed up there too... Craig has 150 pounds of yellow lab sitting on his lap!
